Looking to get away for the day? An all day trip through Orange Beach to Sand Island, Pensacola is a perfect way to do just that! The day starts in the early AM at Bear Point Marina where we will depart and sail through the intercoastal waterway to Sand Island, which is a part of the Big Lagoon State Park only accessible by boat. The sail takes approximately 4-6 hours to get there and back depending on winds and tides that day.
Once we get to our destination we will drop anchor and put kayaks and paddleboards in the water for some fun in the sun. There are a variety of different activities to enjoy around the area including venturing to the near by Ft. McRee to explore an old fort, swimming in the crystal clear water, or playing on the sandy beaches. While your group is enjoying the weather captain and crew will prepare lunch (we can provide upon request). After lunch and sun we will pack up and head back to our port of call. An all day trip is also a great way to take in local wildlife sightings, including dolphins. This trip typically run 8+ hours. All day trips on Tuesday and Wednesdays seasonally provide a front row seat opportunity to watch the famous Blue Angels air show practice.
